If you got off track months ago, or even last week on the 4th and still haven't been "motivated" to get back on track...
If you have a house full of full sugar and carb heavy treats and snacks “for the family”….
TODAY is your day.
That’s right…it's July. Time is passing you by as you wait for Monday.
You want to lose weight...and be honest if you're keeping crap around for the family are you HONESTLY staying out of that crap? I'd say NO since you claim you need to get back on track. There are no more ‘reasons’ to keep this crap in your home anymore. Because let’s be brutally honest…you know you shouldn’t have brought it in there in the first place don’t you?
There’s NO reason to keep it around, if you do you and I both know full well what’s going to happen and the knowledge comes from experience.
Spoiler alert: NEXT month you'll be in the same spot and really dreading the fact that it's time for your end of summer vacation and those cute sundresses in your closet STILL don't fit right.
This isn’t easy for anyone, don’t joke yourself about not wanting to be wasteful when it comes to ditching the snacks. Let’s get real for a moment, if you're working from home and waiting to get back to the office before you start ask yourself this? Do your work pants fit well enough you can wear them for an entire work day? What are you going to wear to the office that first week or two if you wait until you get back to the office to get back on track?
Or you did you notice already that the pretty summer dress you keep for Sunday services won’t zip up. You weren't thinking about the food you didn’t eat that went to waste in those moments were you? You were thinking about the food that went to WAIST though.
And don’t go thinking that on Monday morning you’re going to wake up with a bolt of inspiration from the Heavens. If you’ve been feeling unmotivated for a while chances are nothing is going to change at the stroke of midnight on Sunday night. I mean did it change LAST Sunday night at midnight?
Getting back on track is going to take a CHOICE from you and a little (ok probably a LOT, but thats why we are here) hard work. Because something people don’t talk about is that it’s not easy for ANYONE. The ones who are successful just made a choice and didn’t stop no matter how hard it got.
So….while we’re at it….
Don’t think that you need to keep the food you know you shouldn’t have in the house around for just a little while longer for the “Kids” so that they won’t be deprived.
Chances are they won’t even notice…and be honest NO ONE needs junk food. What does your family need? They need an example of how to have a healthy and happy lifestyle that doesn't involve yo-yo dieting to fit into various outfits. The NEED to learn how to live a life that doesn't have a Weight Loss Surgery Chapter, because obesity doesn't happen in a bubble. It's learned. And every time you make yourself a low carb meal and make them something else? You're teaching them something really really specific.
Be the source of support and inspiration for your own family and lead by example right NOW and toss that stuff, make a list and head to the Grocery store to stock up on the foods that will serve you and help you finally get to goal in 2021. Support on this journey starts with YOU making the choice to do it, not someone helping you choose. YOU make the choice and we’ll help you. But no one is coming to make the choice FOR you.

It's to make peace with what your MIND seems to think will happen when you start losing weight again.
You see one of the biggest things that no one talks about, and trips EVERYONE up is that during our initial stages as a post op we are dropping a pond or more DAILY. Now we've said this before and we'll say it again, no matter how hard you are working that first year it's not YOU it's the surgery. People here who couldn't get to goal, and those to got to goal and regained can attest to the fact that your Surgery is driving the bus for at least the firs year, and if you're lucky the first year and a half.
